Andrew Luck is expected to play in Week 5 against the Texans on Thursday, October 8th. The team does not view his shoulder injury as long-term. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Colts edged out an overtime victory against the Jaguars in Week 4 without Luck, but had to rely on two missed field goals by the visitors to win the contest. While the Texans have not been good this season, especially on offense, the Colts can't afford to drop many more games if they want a top-2 seed in the AFC playoffs. The hope is that the offensive line can keep Luck protected through his injury against J.J. Watt and the Houston front seven.
