Russell Wilson contributes one touchdown pass on Monday Night Football

by Julius Bzozowski | Steelers Correspondent | Tue, Oct 6th 12:28am EDT

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 20 of his 26 attempted passes for 287 yards and one touchdown on Monday versus the Detroit Lions. Wilson also lost two fumbles, recovered one, and scampered for 40 yards on ten carries as the Seahawks won by a score of 13-10. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Russell Wilson started out hot, as the Seahawks offense scored a touchdown in the first half for the first time this year. That score came on a beautiful pass from Wilson to WR Doug Baldwin. However, Wilson never found the end zone again after that. He also was sacked six times for a loss of 52 yards. If the Seahawks do not figure out their offense during a short week, their game on Sunday at undefeated Cincinnati could get ugly. It is a 1pm Eastern Daylight Time start (10am Seattle time), and the Bengals are the 8th best defense in the league in terms of points allowed.
