New England Patriots add depth to defensive line

Mike Reiss reported that the New England Patriots plan to use recently acquired defensive lineman Akiem Hicks. Also, defensive lineman Khyri Thornton was promoted off of the practice squad. The Patriots want to control the line of scrimmage this week against a very good Cowboys offensive line. (Mike Reiss on Twitter)

The Patriots defense has been producing so far this season. The Cowboys boast an elite offensive line, but as a team, are depleted by injuries. The Patriots defense should be able to make plays and stand as a good play this week.
