Kyle Rudolph scores another touchdown, but does little else in Vikings' win

by Kevin C. Wilson | Mon, Oct 26th 1:29pm EDT

Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph scored a touchdown for the second straight game as the Vikings earned a 28-19 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Rudolph caught both of his targets for 10 yards, including a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Fantasy Impact:

Although Rudolph leads the Vikings with three receiving touchdowns, he has done little else to help the passing attack. In the last four games Rudolph has two catches in each game and hasn't exceeded 14 receiving yards in any of them. On the season, the former Pro-Bowler has a total of 18 catches for only 123 yards in six games. That's an average of three catches and just over 20 receiving yards per game, hardly the type of production you are hoping for out of your starting TE. However, Rudolph has scored in half of his games this season so he still has value in touchdown heavy leagues.
