Shane Vereen with a touchdown and 60 receiving yards in Week 8

Vereen recorded the 60 receiving yards on eight receptions, as he was heavily involved in the Giants' passing game in their 52-49 shootout loss to the Saints. Vereen also added three rushing yards on a paltry two attempts.
Fantasy Impact:
When involved in the passing game, Vereen has been a valuable fantasy asset, particularly in PPR formats. He is the Giants' primary pass catching back, but his use has been frustratingly inconsistent. Vereen will be a decent boom-bust RB3/Flex option in standard and PPR formats for the Giants' Week 9 game against the Buccaneers.
