Mike Wallace is a non-factor once again in Vikings' win on Sunday

Veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace was a non-factor in the Vikings' passing attack once again on Sunday as Minnesota earned a 21-18 win over St. Louis. Despite seeing a team-high six targets, Wallace was only able to record one catch for four yards.

Fantasy Impact:

After being heavily involved in the passing game during the first four games of the season (20 catches on 24 targets for 233 yards and one touchdown), Wallace has not been on the same page with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the last four. During that span Wallace has maintained his target frequency (24 targets), but has done nothing with those passes (seven catches, 63 yards, zero touchdowns). This drop in production coincides with the emergence of rookie Stefon Diggs and it doesn't look like Wallace will be reclaiming the top spot in the pecking order anytime soon. At this point Wallace isn't worth owning in smaller leagues, but he is still a viable bench option in larger leagues due to his volume of targets. Just don't put Wallace back into your starting lineup until he proves it again on the field.
