James Starks takes over RB duties in 2nd half

In for a banged-up and ineffective Eddie Lacy, James Starks carried the ball ten times for 39 yards. Most of his production came through the air, where he caught six passes for 83 yards and a TD.
Fantasy Impact:
This is a very frustrating backfield for fantasy owners. James Starks has shown life when on the field but the Packers coaching staff sounds committed to Lacy or at least a committee. Starks was particularly effective on screen passes in the Packers second half comeback. Keep an eye on Eddie Lacy's status throughout the week. If Lacy is out for week ten, Starks will be a solid start vs. a struggling Detroit team. If Lacy is active, Starks is a borderline flex play in a committee.
