Chris Polk gets a minimal role in Week 10

by Mike Werner | Tue, Nov 17th 2:08am EST

Chris Polk rushed four times for 14 yards and received 0 targets in the passing game as the Texans ousted the Bengals on Monday Night Football in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact:

The four touches are certainly disappointing for anyone who thought Polk might get a bigger workload in a game the Texans were expected to be trailing heavily in. Alfred Blue still led this backfield with 13 touches, while Grimes and Polk combined for another 11. PFF's Nathan Jahnke had the snap count at Blue 33, Grimes 22, and Polk 8. It seems "Bang,Bang-Chicken and Shrimp" is third on the totem pole when the team is in a favorable game script, and may get a few more pass-catching opportunities when the game is out of hand. Either way, this running back situation is a mess for fantasy owners and no one is even in the realm of being trustworthy.
