Ronnie Hillman rushes for over 100 yards against Bears

by Blake Glosson | Sun, Nov 22nd 4:15pm EST

Ronnie Hillman had 21 carries for 102 yards in the Broncos' 17-15 victory over the Bears on Sunday. He also had one catch for two yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Sunday marked Hillman's third 100-yard rushing game of the season, as he and C.J. Anderson combined for 33 carries in Brock Osweiler's first start at QB. Hillman had the opportunity to score a touchdown late in the third quarter on a 4th and 1 from the Bears two-yard line, but he stumbled just after taking the handoff and then was stuffed by several Bears defenders. While the Broncos' backfield could see an increase in work as long as Osweiler is at the helm, Hillman owners shouldn't get too excited. This will still be a RBBC approach, and the Broncos run-blocking still isn't great (keep in mind the Bears entered the game 26th in rushing defense). Hillman remains a flex-play at best, and Anderson is still off the fantasy radar.
