Matt Ryan struggles with turnovers in yet another loss

by Justin Dade | Sun, Nov 22nd 6:41pm EST

Matt Ryan finished 25/46 for 280 yards, 3 TDs, and 3 INTs in a game where the Falcons offense did nothing for most of the second half to give away another lead. Ryan continued a disappointing season completing just over 50 percent of his passes and threw a terrible pick six in the fourth quarter on Atlanta's own goal line. He was able to connect with Julio Jones nine times for 160 yards, and threw two touchdowns to fullback Patrick DiMarco in the red zone.

Fantasy Impact:

Ryan's 17 fantasy points in standard formats is a respectable line, but he played much poorly than that would suggest. Ryan simply doesn't look like himself this season, and new offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan could have a lot to do with it. Star running back Devonta Freeman left this game early with a concussion and rookie Tevin Coleman was unable to find any success on the ground in his absence. Don't expect a great performance from this struggling offense next week as the Falcons take on the stingy Vikings defense where Ryan will be a low end QB1.
