Alex Smith throws for 253 yards in Chiefs victory

Smith completed 20-of-25 passes for 253 yards with no touchdown passes or interceptions in the Chiefs 33-3 romp over the Chargers on Sunday in San Diego. Smith also had seven carries for 33 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
With the Chiefs in control of the game, Smith and the passing game wasn't required to do more than manage the game and run the clock in the second half. Smith has now gone seven straight games, spanning 233 pass attempts, since his last interception. The lack of interceptions is good for the Chiefs, but the lack of touchdown passes this season is bad for fantasy owners. Smith only has 10 touchdown passes on the season for an average of one per game. With bye weeks done, Smith does not belong on fantasy rosters unless you are in a two-quarterback league.
