During an interview on Monday, Benjamin Watson stated that he hopes to remain with the Saints in 2016 according to Andrew Schuster of The Saints Dish. (Andrew Schuster via Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Benjamin Watson finished 2015 ranked 8th among tight ends in fantasy points scored totaling 116.5 in 16 games. He averaged 7.3 FPPG during that span. Watson was a pleasant surprise for New Orleans, emerging as one of Drew Brees' favorite weapons after trading away Jimmy Graham in the 2015 offseason. The 35-year old had his best statistical season of his career finishing the year catching 74-of-110 targets for 825 yards and six touchdowns. If the Saints retain Watson, he should be looked upon as a potential high-end TE2 in 2016.
