Travis Benjamin 'optimistic' on returning to Browns

by Blaine Blontz | Thu, Feb 4th 8:35am EST

Travis Benjamin's agent told Mary Kay Cabot that he and his client are "optimistic" that they can reach an agreement that will keep the WR with the Browns moving forward. Benjamin would be one of the top free agents in a weak WR class if he should test the market. (Mary Kay Cabot on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Considering the other options that are expected to hit the open market, Marvin Jones and Anquan Boldin lead the way, Benjamin is in a nice position to cash in one way or another. He burst onto the scene in 2015 as the Browns' top WR, totaling just under 1,000 receiving yards on 68 catches with five TDs. His fantasy value for 2016 will be dependent on where he lands this offseason, but he's certainly a player worth monitoring.
