Niles Paul looks to be a factor in 2016

by Michael Vincent | Thu, Feb 4th 2:25pm EST

Niles Paul plans on being in the tight end mix in 2016 after missing all of 2015 with a broken ankle. He expects to be back for OTAs and, after losing about 25 pounds in his rehab, will start his focus on bulking back up again. (Jake Kring-Schreifels )

Fantasy Impact:

Signing a three-year contract in the offseason last year, the Redskins committed to make him a part of their future at the tight end position. However, with the emergence of Jordan Reed, Paul may play second fiddle to him, if he even remains with the team. His cap hit will be $1,583,333, which may put him on the threshold of cap casualty status with needs at other positions, most notably at quarterback.
