Patriots release Montee Ball

The New England Patriots have released running back Montee Ball as a result of his latest arrest and battery charges. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Montee Ball had been on a downward spiral for some time now and this could put a damper on the former second-round pick's chances of making an NFL return in 2016. Ball is facing disciplinary action from the league which could result in suspending the 25-year old Ball if he ends up on a roster anytime soon.
