Redskins sign Vernon Davis to one-year deal

Fantasy Impact:
Vernon Davis will likely serve as the insurance policy to tight end Jordan Reed in Washington. Davis was traded mid-season in 2015 to the Denver Broncos and was expected to add an extra dynamic to their offense. A plan that never worked out. Davis finished the year with 38 receptions for 395 yards and zero touchdowns appearing in 15 games with San Francisco and Denver.
