by Anthony Cervino | Wed, Apr 6th 6:30pm EDT

According to CSN's Matt Maiocco, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick(shoulder) appears to be "a month away from being football-ready" following surgery on his non-throwing shoulder. Maiocco added that the quarterback had "no set-backs" during the rehabilitation process. (Matt Maiocco on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Amidst all the storylines surrounding where Colin Kaepernick will play football in 2016, his season-ending injury in 2015 played second-fiddle to the aforementioned reports. Kaepernick is rehabbing from multiple surgeries, including his non-throwing shoulder, thumb and knee. Regardless of where he will play this season, Kaepernick is expected to be "football-ready" in about a month.
