Sam Bradford still Eagles' starter in wake of blockbuster trade

During Wednesday's press conference following Philadelphia's blockbuster trade for the second-overall selection in the NFL Draft, Eagles GM Howie Roseman informed the media that Sam Bradord is the team's starting quarterback and trading the signal caller wasn't their intention. (Around the NFL)

Unless an offer comes about for either Sam Bradford or Chase Daniel, the Eagles are in a place where they can have their future franchise quarterback in a red shirt situation where he won't have to be rushed into the starting job and be groomed as Aaron Rodgers and Philip Rivers were. Despite the reports, quarterback-needy teams like the Jets and Broncos could make a play for either Daniel or Bradford as we approach the draft.
