Chiefs 'shopping' Knile Davis

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs are "shopping" running back Knile Davis. (Jason La Canfora on Twitter)

It appears that Knile Davis is the odd man out of Kansas City's crowded and talented backfield. The three-year veteran took a back seat to Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware in 2015 as Jamaal Charles' replacement following his season-ending ACL injury in Week 5. Davis only carried the ball 28 times for 72 yards and a touchdown last year being used primarily as a return specialist. The Chiefs could receive a late-round selection in return for Davis is he is, in fact, dealt during draft weekend.
