Dolphins choose Kenyan Drake with 73rd pick

by Reginald James | Sat, Apr 30th 5:41am EDT

The Miami Dolphins made Alabama's Kenyan Drake the third running back chosen in the 2016 draft. Drake is considered to be an all-purpose back who is noted for his speed and his special teams skills as a kick returner. He also played on kickoff coverage. Drake was Derrick Henry's backup last season. (Sun Sentinel)

Fantasy Impact:

Drake (6'1", 210) will likely challenge Jay Ajayi for the starting role in the Miami backfield, or may settle in as the third-down back at the very least.
