The Los Angeles Rams have drafted South Carolina wide receiver Pharoh Cooper with the 19th pick of the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft.
Fantasy Impact:
Cooper will be a useful addition to a Rams team that was so thin at wide receiver in 2015 they had to sign an aging Wes Welker off the street. With Tavon Austin acting as a breakaway threat and Todd Gurley pounding the ball between the tackles, Cooper can ideally function as something of a possession receiver, on his best days comparable to Lions wideout Golden Tate, to help the Rams move the chains. Presumptive franchise quarterback Jared Goff likely appreciates this pick.
