Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott spoke to the media on Monday regarding his personal expectations for the upcoming season and his career following a pair of brilliant preseason performances that garnered the rookie a vast amount of hype thus far in his short tenure in the NFL. "My mindset is I want to be a starter for this organization one day, and a starter in this league for a long time," Prescott said via the Dallas Morning News. "I'm going to continue to push myself and make myself the best as I can each and every day." (Dallas Morning News)

Fantasy Impact:

Prescott is entering his rookie season as the favorite to win the No. 2 quarterback job in Dallas behind Tony Romo. Prescott dazzled during his first two NFL contests, albeit, they were preseason games, but impressed enough to likely emerge as the backup signal caller of the Cowboys. Due to Romo's extensive injury history, Prescott is garnering extra attention as the Cowboys tend to implode without their veteran under center. Nevertheless, Prescott is giving the team and fans alike a glimmer of hope in the event that Romo is sidelined once again in 2016.
