Randall Cobb finds the end zone Friday against the 49ers

by Derek Yoder | Jets Correspondent | Sat, Aug 27th 7:37pm EDT

Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Randall Cobb scored his first touchdown of the preseason Friday night when Aaron Rodgers found Cobb on a six-yard catch and run. The touchdown came on the first play in the second quarter ending the night for most of the first team offense for the Packers. Cobb finished the night catching three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Cobb is currently being taken as the #43 player overall and the #19 receiver off the board. With the return of Jordy Nelson, Cobb will slide back into his versatile role as he can play in the slot or on the outside in most WR sets. Cobb has the potential of being one of the most consistent and reliable players in fantasy this season as the Packers wideouts have one of the easiest projected schedules in the NFL. Draft Cobb with extreme confidence knowing that he easily could be a top 10 Wide Reciever come years end.
