Victor Cruz leads Giants with 55 yards receiving in Week 7

Victor Cruz managed only 55 yards on five receptions in Week 7 against the Rams. Unfortunately, Cruz's 55 yards receiving led the Giants. Despite the poor offensive showing, the Giants managed to win 17-10.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a disappointing game for all of the Giants' receivers. Cruz was targeted eight times, which does give him value in deeper PPR leagues. In Week 8 the Giants are bye, but return in Week 9 to face the very tough Eagles defense. Cruz should be benched for that game in all but the very deepest of leagues. In more shallow leagues, Cruz does not need to be rostered.
