Christian Ponder Advice
Notes | ArticlesWhy is he even been drafted anymore?
Not sold on this guy and now Cassel is breathing down his neck. Sketchy bench filler but does possess some upside with Jennings and Patterson now in town.
Ponder improved from his rookie season and finished with 2,935 yards passing, 18 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He should be entrenched as the Vikings quarterback in 2013, but I would not expect the Vikings to deviate from their run oriented offense. Losing Harvin hurts, but gaining Greg Jennings was big.
Ponder is fragile and a bit timid, but I still like his potential. Jennings and Patterson could help him grow up fast.
Jennings and Patterson will give Ponder a nice 1-2 punch, but this offense is all about AP.
The addition of Jennings and subtraction of Harvin are a bit of a wash as far as his stats go. He'll have to make a leap forward to be fantasy relevant this season.
Make-or-break year and he's expected to break
Christian must Ponder if he will even have the starting gig come September.
