Bailey missed a 41 yard field goal that would have made the game only 17-10 Lions, but redeemed himself with a 51 yard field goal to fuel the Cowboys 24-20 win over the Lions.
Fantasy Impact: The miss in the third quarter was Bailey's first missed kick that was neither greater than 50 yards nor blocked; that being said, Bailey is still a top kicking option. Bailey was successful with each of his three extra points and his 51 yard field goal was an added boost for fantasy owners. The Packers rank 6th against kickers and it is always rough to kick in Lambeau in January; if you are looking to spend extra for a kicker in daily fantasy, it may be wise to look away from Bailey.
Fantasy Impact: Bailey was 22-26 for the season on field goals, with two misses of 50 yards or longer and two blocked field goals. He also was at the helm of the fifth ranked offense, leading to 56 XP. Bailey and the Cowboys will face the Lions in the first round of the playoffs; the Lions ranked second against kickers this year, so there may be little opportunity in daily fantasy football to utilize the sixth ranked kicker for the 2014 season.
Dan Bailey made his only field goal attempt for 49 yards and added 5 extra points in Sunday's win against the Eagles. (Source: CBS)
Fantasy Impact: Dan Bailey totalled 9 points in Sunday's win, you'll take that as a fantasy owner. Bailey continues to be a solid fantasy option and should be penciled in your kicker slot for the remainder of the season.
Dan Bailey was two for two on field goals and kicked five extra points in the Cowboys' 41-28 win over the Bears.
Fantasy Impact: The Bears allow the most points in fantasy to kickers, so it is not a surprise that Bailey was a double digit point kicker once again. This is a welcome sight for fantasy owners that have waited six weeks for Bailey to return to his double digit fantasy point form. In the first six weeks of the season, Bailey was in double digits four times, including a 19 point outburst against the Titans, but he has an uphill battle for the remainder of the season. The Cowboys will face two of the top fantasy defenses against kickers, Philadelphia next week followed by Indianapolis in Week 16, so Bailey owners may have an unpleasant surprise in the playoffs. This is not to say that you should look for a new kicker this late in the season, but at least keep your eyes open for similarly reliable kickers with better matchups like Matt Bryant.
Clear weather and the league's worst defense against kickers could signal a great game for Bailey. (Source: Stadium Forecast)
Fantasy Impact: The Bears allow 10.7 fantasy points on average to kickers, the worst average in the NFL, and a cloudy yet relatively calm 9 mph wind in Chicago could be good for the NFL's most accurate kicker. Bailey has not been a hugely successful fantasy option over the past five weeks, only averaging six points per game, but the Bears defense could be the perfect elixir. Kickers have made 87% of their kicks and six times this season a kicker has had double digit fantasy points against the Bears. Bailey is usually a top five target for fantasy purposes, but this week he might be the top scorer for fantasy kickers.
Cowboys' kicker Dan Bailey kicked four extra points and made a 38 yard field goal in the Dallas Cowboys' win against the Giants. (Source: CBS)
Fantasy Impact: Unfortunately, Bailey's 38 yard field goal was his only attempt of the night. The game quickly turned into a shoot-out, so Bailey was only able to score four PATs for the remainder of the game. Owners should expect more productivity out of the Cowboys' kicker when Dallas goes head to head against Philadelphia in a match-up that could secure the division.
Dan Bailey set the tone for the Cowboys on Sunday when he nailed through a 54-yard field goal three minutes into the game. (Source: CBS)
Fantasy Impact: Even though he missed his second attempt, Bailey was able to secure four PATs and a 54 yard field goal, making a successful fantasy outing for Bailey owners. The 54 yard field goal was his fifth 50+ yard score, making him a top fantasy kicker and someone owners should keep in their roster during the Cowboy's bye week.

Fantasy Impact: Dan Bailey was banged up on a extra point attempt in the third quarter and was seen limping on the sideline, a worrysome image for owners of the top-3 kicking option. He rebounded very well, though, as he made a 49-yard field goal late in the 4th quarter to finish a 31-21 win for the Cowboys. Bailey is the most accurate kicker in NFL history and considering that the Cowboys are one of the best offenses in football this year, Bailey's value may never be higher. If this left leg injury is something that Bailey can easily recover from, he is still a top option at kicker.
Dan Bailey is now the most accurate kicker in NFL history after making a 42 yard field goal in the second quarter versus Seattle. (Source: ESPN)
Fantasy Impact: The Cowboys' 30-23 win in Seattle was a truly historic game for Bailey as he was 3-3 on field goals and set his career long for a field goal with a 56 yard field goal in the third quarter. Bailey is now 13-14 on field goal attempts this year with four of his made field goals being 50+ yards. Bailey is one of five kickers in football that averages double digit points per game in a standard league and his accuracy and ability to make 50+ yard field goals make him even more valuable in leagues where there are bonuses for longer field goal conversions. He may be the only kicker that is worth keeping on your roster even through a bye week.
Cowboys K Dan Bailey converted three of three FG attempts and added three PATs in the team's win over Seattle. Two of Bailey's field goals were from over 40 yards as well.
Fantasy Impact: Bailey continues to be arguably the most consistent kicker in fantasy football. With his three conversions on Sunday, Bailey passed the minimum number of career attempts to be considered as the most accurate kicker in NFL history. Continue to start Bailey on a weekly basis.
Dan Bailey's next field goal attempt will be his 110th, making him eligible to have the best field goal accuracy in NFL history. (Source: ESPN)
Fantasy Impact: Dan Bailey is 99 of 109 in his three plus NFL seasons and is one of the best kickers in the league. He has made a 50+ yard field goal in each season and only once has missed two field goals in a game. He has missed only five kicks in the last two plus seasons and has never missed an extra point. With the Cowboys offense thriving as it has been, Bailey is the most rosterable kicker in the league and would even be worth keeping on your roster during the Week 11 bye week for the Cowboys.
