Daniel Fells

Giants TE Daniel Fells was diagnosed with MRSA. He was being treated for an ankle injury when it was discovered he had an infection. This ailment will bring an end to his season.

Fantasy Impact

Fells received a few targets the first few games of the regular season, but he wasn't fantasy relevant. His absence should only increase targets received by Larry Donnell, though Donnell hasn't been worthy of a starting spot in the early going.

The New York Giants resigned veteran tight end Daniel Fells to one year contract.

Fells has agreed to come back to the Giants on a one year deal. Fells was used mostly as a blocking tight end but still managed to have 16 receptions for 188 yards and four touchdowns. Fells will primarily be used as the second tight end behind Larry Donnell.
