Donnie Avery inactive for Week 15

Even after being listed as probable, Donnie Avery (groin) will not suit up in Week 15 against the Raiders.

Fantasy Impact

Donnie Avery, like all the Chiefs WRs, is not an effective fantasy play in any format. The WR group is yet to catch a touchdown pass so whether Avery is active or not, he is not a fantasy relevant WR.

Donnie Avery will start Sunday

Avery had a limited practice on Tuesday, but followed it up with two full practices and is officially probable for Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Although Avery is the top WR on the depth chart and he has a nice matchup against Oakland this week, the Chiefs funnel so much of the offense through Charles and Kelce that it renders everyone else all but useless. Avery will be a long reach in week 15.

Donnie Avery listed as probable against Cardinals

Donnie Avery was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as 'Probable' for Sunday's game.

Fantasy Impact

Avery rejoins a receiver corp that's been extremely lackluster all season. While Avery is an upgrade over Frankie Hammond Jr., it remains to be seen how much of an impact he can make in his return. With playoffs starting up in most fantasy leagues this week, Avery is a total stay away, as are all Chiefs receivers.

Donnie Avery silent in return to the gridiron

Donnie Avery made his first appearance Sunday night since leaving in week 4 with a groin injury.

Fantasy Impact

Avery was held catch-less until the Chiefs were forced to air it out late in the 4th quarter. His one grab was a catch and run for 20 yards but he fumbled all the value away, finishing with 0 standard points and a measly 1 PPR point. The Chief's receivers are a situation to avoid right now.

Donnie Avery active in Week 13

Donnie Avery returns to the active roster after injuring his groin in Week 4.

Fantasy Impact

Donnie Avery will finally return to the Chiefs active roster against the Broncos on Sunday Night Football. Avery is not worth a fantasy roster spot in the Chiefs run first offense until he earns it.
