John Abraham

Pro Bowl LB John Abraham arrived in Phoenix late last night and will report to training camp this morning. He has missed 3 weeks of camp after being charged with DUI in Atlanta in late June. He will address the media after team walkthrough around 11:30 AZ time.

Fantasy Impact

It is widely believed Abraham missed time in camp due to checking himself into rehab. He was the team's leading pass rusher with 11.5 sacks last year and the Cardinals definitely cannot afford to lose that production. Abraham might avoid a suspension this season given the amount of time it takes to complete the legal process.

More bad news for the Cardinals LBs as pro bowl OLB John Abraham was arrested in suburban Atlanta last month for DUI. If found guilty, Abraham would be subject to fine and/or suspension by the NFL.

It is unclear whether this is part of the reason why Abraham has yet to report to training camp. When asked about Abraham's absence again on Sunday, HC Bruce Arians wouldn't get into specifics other than to say that Abraham "has my blessings." Abraham led the Cardinals with 11½ sacks last season and needs 8½ more to move into fifth place ahead of Michael Strahan (141½). It would be another blow to the Cardinals D if he were to miss time.
