Kerwynn Williams paces Chiefs in touches versus Falcons

Kerwynn Williams rushed eight times for 23 yards and had four receptions for 27 yards in the Chiefs' 28-14 preseason win over the Falcons in Atlanta Friday night. He was targeted five times.

Fantasy Impact

Williams led the Chiefs in touches and targets against Atlanta. He continues to make a case to provide depth behind Kareem Hunt.

Kerwyn Williams sees 10 touches versus Texans

Kerwyn Williams posted six carries for 18 yards and caught all four of his targets for 12 yards in Kansas City's 17-10 loss to Houston Thursday night in preseason play.

Fantasy Impact

Williams was busy prior to leaving with an apparent head injury Thursday versus the Texans. He is fourth on the depth chart for Kansas City and is fighting for a roster spot.

Kerwynn Williams signs with Chiefs

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting former Arizona Cardinals RB Kerwynn Williams has signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact

Wiliams will head over to the Chiefs' crowded backfield, likely to provide an extra training camp body with an outside shot to make the final 2018 roster. While Kansas City already employs the hard-hitting tandem of Kareem Hunt and Spencer Ware, who likely eat up most of the running back opportunities, they also have quality depth behind them that include Charcandrick West, Akeem Hunt, and the recently signed Damien Wiliams. Unless the Chiefs move one of or move on from one of their running backs, I don't expect much out of Williams this year.

Kerwynn Williams leads Cardinals with 23 carries

Kerwynn Williams ran for 75 yards on 23 carries as the Cardinals beat the Seahawks 26-24 in Seattle in Week 17. He added one reception that went for six yards.

Fantasy Impact

Williams was the lead back while injuries to David Johnson and Adrian Peterson kept them on the sideline and really did nothing to show that he would be anything more than Johnson's backup next season.

Kerwynn Williams totals 65 yards against Giants

Kerwynn Williams rushed 16 times for 51 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards on Sunday against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact

Williams was a little iffy coming in with rib and quadriceps injuries but his 18 touches showed that he was fully healthy. He's shown himself to be a fairly steady producer, albeit one without upside. He won't be a great option next weekend against Seattle.
