Rashad Ross
WR -
2024 Outlook
Ross was only featured on one passing play Sunday in the Redskins close matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, reeling it in for eight yards.
Fantasy Impact
Ross is the fourth wide receiving target on the Redskins roster and will slide back to fifth once rookie Josh Doctson returns from his Achilles injury. Ross isn't on the fantasy radar at this point in his career.
Rashad Ross made the Washington Redskins 53-man roster on Saturday, along with five other wide receivers.
Fantasy Impact
Ross showed improved versatility and playmaking ability in the preseason earning his way onto the squad. He'll compete for snaps and targets behind DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, and Jamison Crowder.
Rashad Ross secured four of his five targets on the evening for a total of 49 yards and long of 22. The second-year Arizona State product did have one fumble on the night, but it was not lost.
Fantasy Impact
Ross, a 2015 undrafted free agent, is still far back in the depth chart to be considered on the fantasy radar. In fact, he faces a tough hike to make the 53-man roster out of training camp.
Rashad Ross was one of six wide receivers named to the Washington 53 man roster.
Fantasy Impact
After blowing the roof off everyone's doors this preseason, finishing with 25 receptions, 266 yards and four scores, Ross enters the rotation. The Washington offense has more questions than answers at this stage, and fringe wide receivers are not on the immediate redraft radar.
Rashad Ross tallied ten receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact
Ross made as strong a statement as possible this preseason by leading the NFL in both receptions and yardage. He piled 263 total receiving yards in the preseason (23 more than any other player) while finishing with 25 receptions through four games (which is eight more than another player). Ross left a great impression on the Redskins' coaching staff but it remains to be seen if this translates at all into the regular season.
