Cardinals coach Bruce Arians made it clear Wednesday that Rashard Mendenhall is the starting running back heading into training camp. Rashard Mendenhall Advice
Notes | ArticlesWith Arians singing the praises of his former Pittsburgh starting RB, it's a good bet that Mendenhall sees the majority of carries for the Cards.
Still only 25, he is poised to start for his old Coach Bruce Arians, who has been praising him this off-season.
I'm hedging my bets with Mendenhall winning the starting job in Arizona.
Has an opportunity and is only 25, but there is competition in the Cards backfield and he isn't the runner of 09-11. You shouldn't book your tickets to Titletown through Mendy.
Appears to have a large role ahead but lots of backs in 'Zona now. Pay attention this summer.
Mendenhall will have some RB3 appeal as the likely starter in Arizona for a head coach, Bruce Arians, who does not like to go with running back committees. He is injury prone and he is not the same back he was a couple years ago.
ACL sapped him of speed last year but he'll head into 2013 healthier and as AZ's top back.
He should win the starting job in AZ, but the offensive line needs to improve dramatically to give him a shot.
He looks like the frontrunner for the starting RB job in Arizona.
Will battle for starting job, but has an edge
