Rashee Rice is facing a multigame suspension over his recent arrest, according to Adam Schefter, who broke down NFL Draft-related news as well as things he has been hearing around the league. (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Rice facing a multigame suspension is not what fantasy managers want to hear, as the second-year receiver was poised to have a large role this season. He could drop a few slots in WR rankings as a result of this news.

Category: Rumors

Xavier Legette was on a call with USA TODAY's John Crumpler and told him that the Panthers had discussed taking him a pick 33 in this week's NFL Draft (Source: John Crumpler)

Fantasy Impact: Legette landing in Carolina would provide another boost for Bryce Young and the Panthers, who acquired Diontae Johnson from the Steelers earlier in the offseason. He would fit very nicely in a receiving room that is missing an X receiver-level talent, and would immediately slot in as a top target earner.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle is expected to have his fifth-year option picked up by the front office, says team general manager Chris Grier. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Waddle has been an excellent pick for the Dolphins since being taken sixth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. With three straight 1,000-yard, four-TD seasons to start his career (3,385 yards and 18 TDs), Waddle has been an efficiency monster while serving as the team's WR2 alongside Tyreek Hill. He has averaged 13.5 yards per catch and will likely be a big part of Miami's future with Hill hinting at a possible early retirement in a few years.

Darius Slayton has not reported to the New York Giants' voluntary workouts this week as he seeks a contract extension. He signed a two-year, 12.2 million dollar extension with the team prior to last season. (Source: ESPN)

Fantasy Impact: Slayton has been the Giants' leading receiver in four of the past five seasons. He's been a consistent performer for this team despite being part of many inconsistent offences. With a very underwhelming WR depth chart as it currently stands, the Giants can ill-afford to lose Slayton. They'll be inclined to get this move done sooner rather than later.

Courtland Sutton did not report to the Denver Broncos' voluntary workouts on Monday. The veteran WR is seeking a new contract as he only has two million dollars guaranteed left on his deal. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Sutton's situation will be one to monitor over the off-season. From a fantasy perspective, his 10 touchdowns in 2023 provided great value for managers. If Sutton were to miss time as a result of this contract dispute, the likes of Marvin Mims Jr. and Greg Dulcich would see an uptick in targets.

Justin Jefferson is not present for the Vikings’ voluntary offseason workouts. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Jefferson continues to await a contract extension from the Vikings. With the workouts being voluntary, he will not be fined. Fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on Jefferson’s status as we get close to training camp.

CeeDee Lamb is not expected to attend the start of the team’s voluntary off-season program. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Lamb is waiting on a new contract that will replace his fifth-year option that he is set to play on this season. With Eagles’ WR Devonta Smith getting a new deal Monday, Lamb is likely to push even harder for a new deal before the start of the 2024 season.

The Eagles and WR DeVonta Smith have agreed to a three-year, $75M extension. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The deal includes $51M guaranteed. The deal locks up the 25-year-old wide receiver after he tallied 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns on 81 receptions last season. The former first-round pick has recorded two consecutive 1,000 yard seasons and will remain a key component of the Eagles’ offense.

Deonte Harty has signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The former Bills WR totalled 15 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown last season. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Harty's impact will mostly be felt in the special teams unit. As a former special teams pro-bowler in 2019, he will provide some explosiveness to the Ravens' return game. Harty's arrival will not impact the usage of the likes of Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews.

Tee Higgins anticipates playing for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024. The WR requested a trade earlier in the off-season after the team informed him that he would be franchise tagged. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: With Higgins back in the lineup, Joe Burrow has the benefit of working with arguably the league's best WR duo for yet another year. Higgins will likely return to being an inconsistent, high-upside fantasy asset as the second option behind Ja'Marr Chase. This Bengals offense should be an explosive unit next season.

The Saints have agreed to terms with WR Equanimeous St. Brown. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: St. Brown appeared in seven games with the Bears last season, recording 62 receiving yards on six receptions. Fantasy managers should expect the veteran to operate as a depth wide receiver for the Saints.

Pro Bowl WR Stefon Diggs has reworked his contract with the Houston Texans, clearing out his final three years (2025-2027) to essentially create a one-year deal. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Texans are converting his future injury-guaranteed money into guaranteed money in 2024, giving him a one-year pay raise and setting him up for free agency in 2025. Diggs, who appeared to lose a step — for one reason or another — in 2023 has an incentive to perform in 2024 for a new payday. However, the Texans are not eligible for compensatory-pick compensation for Diggs if he leaves due to the nature of his restructured deal.

The Seahawks have signed WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (Source: Mike Garafolo on TWitter )

Fantasy Impact: Shenault finished last season with 60 receiving yards on 10 receptions in eight games last season. The former second-round pick will look to have a bounce back season in Seattle.

The Rams re-signed Tyler Johnson. (Source: Aaron Wilson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Johnson appeared in one game last season with the Rams. He'll likely compete for a roster spot during training camp.

The Washington Commanders agreed to a deal with Olamide Zaccheaus. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Zaccheaus remains in the NFC East after spending last season with the Eagles. He will likely remain in a depth role now with the Commanders.

Former Washington Huskies WR Rome Odunze will not be participating at the Washington Pro Day on Thursday. (Source: Pete Thamel on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Odunze, a projected top-three receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, is standing firm on his outing at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. In Indy, Odunze put on a show during the on-field workouts and also posted a 9.92 RAS along with a 4.45-second 40-yard dash, a 4.03-second short shuttle and a 39" vertical. He is set to meet with eight teams in the top 10, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Category: Rumors

The Denver Broncos are signing veteran WR Josh Reynolds to a two-year $14 million contract. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Reynolds is coming off arguably a career-year, posting 608 receiving yards on 40 catches (both second-best) with five touchdowns (tied for career-best). Reynolds can provide another outside receiver who can threaten the boundary and attack defenses deep, pairing with Courtland Sutton in an offense that’s short on weapons.

The Dolphins reportedly have offered Odell Beckham. (Source: ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact: It was reported last week that a meeting between Beckham and Miami went well. His market has been fairly quiet outside of the Dolphins, so it is unclear what other teams have shown interest in Beckham.

Quez Watkins signs with Steelers

Mon, Mar 25th 12:25pm EDT
By Ari Koslow

Quez Watkins has signed with the Steelers. (Source: Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Watkins spent the first four seasons of his career with the Eagles, catching 98 combined passes in a limited role. He'll be a depth receiver for Pittsburgh.

Former New York Giants WR Parris Campbell has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. (Source: Philadelphia Eagles on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Campbell, who spent 2023 with the Giants, spent four years with the Colts to begin his career. His best season came in 2022 when he had 63 catches, 623 yards and three TDs in Indy. However, he caught just 20 passes as a member of a depleted WR group in New York in 2023. The Eagles brought in Campbell and DeVante Parker to help find a reliable WR3 to pair with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

The Baltimore Ravens are meeting with free agent WR Michael Gallup on Thursday. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: While the Ravens' passing attack was improved from years past, it's still a thin group that's expected to lose Odell Beckham Jr.; with a three-wide grouping of Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, Baltimore could use another veteran. Gallup could provide a vertical threat that the team does not currently have.

Mike Williams said he will be ready for Week 1. (Source: Rich Cimini on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Williams, who signed a one-year deal with the Jets, told the media he is over four months removed from ACL surgery. He'll be a downfield threat on the outside for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets offense next season.

Category: Injury Updates

Marvin Harrison Jr. is not participating at Ohio State's Pro Day. (Source: Albert Breer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Harrison did not test at the NFL Combine last month either. He is still expected to be the top wide receiver selected in the NFL Draft next month.

David Moore signs with Panthers

Wed, Mar 20th 10:27am EDT
By Ari Koslow

The Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with David Moore. (Source: Carolina Panthers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Moore most recently caught five passes in Tampa Bay last season. This will be his second stint in Carolina. He should add depth to the Panthers wide receiver room.

The Browns and James Proche have agreed to terms on a one-year deal. (Source: Zac Jackson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Proche is back with Cleveland after playing in 10 games with them last season. He should remain in a primary punt return role.

The Cleveland Browns and newly acquired WR Jerry Jeudy have come to terms on a three-year contract extension to keep the former Alabama product through the 2027 season. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Jeudy will make up to $58 million on his three-year extension with $41 million fully guaranteed at signing. Considering the largely insignificant capital needed to make the trade, Jeudy inks a solid extension to keep him in Cleveland before even playing a snap. He will be paired alongside WRs Elijah Moore and Amari Cooper and TE David Njoku with QB Deshaun Watson, arguably giving him the best supporting cast he's had in a while.

The Patriots have signed WR K.J. Osborn. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Osborn will join the Patriots on a one-year contract as the Patriots look to rebuild their receiving corps. Osborn should see plenty of targets in 2024, but the Patriots still have a major question mark at quarterback.

Veteran WR Braxton Berrios is re-signing with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal worth up to $3 million. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Berrios started one game and played 16 for the Dolphins in 2023, catching 27 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown. He also served as the team's primary punt and kick returner, totaling 676 return yards on 41 attempts. With a clear Batman and Robin in Miami's passing game, there's not much room for Berrios to produce offensively.

The Detroit Lions are bringing back WR Donovan Peoples-Jones on a one-year deal worth up to $2 million. (Source: Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Peoples-Jones was traded to Detroit midway through the season in exchange for a 2025 sixth-rounder. In eight games with the Lions, the former Cleveland Brown caught five passes for 58 yards. He only played on 13% of the offensive snaps and 14% of special teams snaps. With a cheap one-year deal, Peoples-Jones should be viewed as nothing more than a depth piece with field-stretching capabilities as he operates behind an established trio of receivers.

Free agent WR Mike Williams is set to visit the Panthers next week. (Source: Mike Kaye on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Williams was recently released from the Chargers. The veteran wide receiver is coming off a torn ACL but should have plenty of suitors in need of a big wide receiver.

Former Cardinals WR Marquise Brown has agreed to a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth up to $11M, according to multiple reports. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Brown, who turns 27 years old this summer, has flashed his potential and big-play ability in the NFL but has also dealt with injuries the last two seasons. In 2023, playing for a rebuilding Cardinals team, he caught 51 of his 101 targets for 574 yards and four touchdowns. In Kansas City, he's penciled into a starting WR spot across from second-year WR Rashee Rice and TE Travis Kelce to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes in an offense designed by Andy Reid. It would be hard to find a better landing spot for Brown.

The Los Angeles Chargers are trading WR Keenan Allen to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a fourth-round pick, according to multiple reports. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Chargers entered free agency wildly over the NFL salary cap and have been making moves throughout the week to clear space. WR Mike Williams was released, edge rushers Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa agreed to restructured contracts, and now Allen has been traded. For the Chargers, their WR room is suddenly without its top two pass catchers, and new HC Jim Harbaugh will certainly want to bring in some competition for WRs Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston. In Chicago, Allen joins a revamped offense that has added RB D'Andre Swift and TE Gerald Everett to go with WR DJ Moore, TE Cole Kmet, and, presumably, QB Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Vikings have agreed to a one-year deal WR Trent Sherfield. (Source: Kevin Seifert on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Sherfield saw limited action with the Bills in 2023, tallying just 11 receptions in 17 games. The veteran will have an uphill battle competing for targets in a deep wide receiver group.

Category: Transactions

The Saints have signed WR Cedrick Wilson to a two-year contract. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Wilson will head to New Orleans and compete for a depth spot on the Saints’ roster. The 29-year-old tallied 296 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 22 receptions last season with Miami.

Thu, Mar 14th 9:50pm EDT
By Ari Koslow

The Arizona Cardinals signed Chris Moore on a one-year deal. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Moore will add some depth to the Cardinals wide receiver room on the same day they traded Rondale Moore. He caught 22 passes with the Titans last season.

Corey Davis released by Jets

Thu, Mar 14th 9:47pm EDT
By Jesse Garcia

The Jets have released WR Corey Davis. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Davis stepped away from football before the start of the 2023 regular season, but has applied for reinstatement. The Jets are reportedly interested in bringing Davis back, but he will be free to sign a deal with any team.

Curtis Samuel signs with Bills

Thu, Mar 14th 6:13pm EDT
By Ari Koslow

The Bills signed Curtis Samuel to a three-year, $30 million deal. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Samuel figures to fill a role similar to what Gabe Davis held who left Buffalo in free agency. He'll likely be a WR3 with upside for fantasy managers, but he may be more valuable to the Bills from a real life standpoint.

The Jets have made Allen Lazard available in trade talks this offseason. (Source: Dianna Russini on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lazard is due a $10 million salary this season. He was a healthy scratch for much of last year, and will now look for a fresh start if he can be moved.

Veteran WR Tyler Boyd is gaining interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs, with the New York Jets considered a dark horse candidate for the slot receiver. (Source: Mark Kaboly on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Steelers, who just traded away Diontae Johnson, could be a good fit for Boyd, needing further depth and a new underneath route-running WR. The Chiefs are also interesting, as they need a savvy veteran and could give Boyd a role similar to that of JuJu Smith-Schuster in 2022's Super Bowl run. According to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, Jets players are pushing the front office to acquire Boyd, with New York being another team in need of WR depth behind WR Garrett Wilson.

Category: Rumors

The Atlanta Falcons are acquiring WR Rondale Moore from the Arizona Cardinals in a player-for-player trade involving QB Demond Ridder. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Moore never had the breakout fans hoped for, with his yards per route run dropping every season (1.65, 1.47 and 0.73, respectively). Despite his drop in efficiency, Moore still has a potential niche to fill in the NFL as an underneath, speedy YAC threat or as a pseudo-satellite back. If Atlanta can get creative with Moore's usage, he could provide further versatility to the offense.

The Titans are bringing back Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on a one-year deal. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Westbrook-Ikhine has totaled 94 catches for 1276 yards and 10 TDs in four seasons in Tennessee. He was an undrafted free agent with the Titans back in 2020. He should remain a depth wide receiver for the Titans next season.

Jamison Crowder is re-signing with the Commanders on a one-year deal. (Source: Josina Anderson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Crowder played in a limited role with Washington last season. He should remain in the slot with the Commanders next year.

Wed, Mar 13th 5:15pm EDT
By Ari Koslow

Calvin Ridley is signing a four-year, $92 million deal with $50 million fully guaranteed with the Titans. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: In his first year back from suspension last season, Ridley caught 76 passes for 1,016 yards with eight touchdowns last season in Jacksonville. He remains in the AFC South and will join DeAndre Hopkins on the Titans with Will Levis looking to take a step forward next season.
