While we always want to get excited about Sproles. The truth is we cannot. Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas are both stud RBs. These guys demand 5-12 Carries a game each. Sproles will have his weeks, and he is still a PPR monster. But as a stand alone player, he does have a lot of Beast or Bust potential from week-to-week. More Bust.
Bradshaw is in a good situation where he will be the lead RB to one of the most effective/efficient offenses in the NFL. The Colts are also going to a West Coast Scheme which will likely put the ball in Bradshaw's hands over 20 times a game.

Staff Rankings
FFLockerRoom
If this game turns into a shootout, Ingram will be out and the Sproles/Pierre show will be on!
If Bradshaw is ready, which we're not totally convinced he is, he could have a big day agains the Raiders. Our skepticism about the health is the only reason he's this far down.

Sablich Brothers
The New York Times

Vick Ballard likely to draw the start/Bradshaw's workload an unknown.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
You can count on Sproles to get you some receptions even on off games, so unless you are in an 8 team league you'll be starting him. He hasn't had great luck against Atlanta in recent history, but these are usually high scoring affairs and you want him in your starting lineup.
He's still returning from foot surgery and running with the second team in practice, but as the week goes on he should be able to step up a bit. His matchup against Oakland is a juicy one. They were obliterated by Matt Forte and Michael Bush in the third preseason game and if Bradshaw looks good to go he'll be a good start.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League

Never short on talent Bradshaw should have big season with Andrew Luck if healthy

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Atlanta ranked 18th in receptions given up to running backs last year (76) and their 631 yards receiving allowed were 21st. Sproles should have RB2 / Flex value this week in a game that figures to be a shootout.
Oakland has a terrible defense that ranked 24th against fantasy backs, so Bradshaw should have a solid debut for his new team. The Colts are expected to limit his carries against a bad team, so he is a risky flex play.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Depending on your league and scoring system, Sproles could be an absolute gold-mine if you are in a PPR league. With Sean Payton back on the helm, Sproles’ numbers will see an uptick – as Payton knows the value and versatility that his RB holds in both the receiving and rushing game.
Coming off foot surgery, but expected back within the next week. Likely to be the number one RB in Indi. Effective when healthy, but foot issues have always been a problem while in NY, part of the reason they let him go.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
He's always active and this should be a shootout, so he's still RB2 or Flex material for sure.
Raiders are bad on D so Bradshaw could be in for a big Colts debut.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Sproles doesn't factor much into the Saints' ground game, but he's an absolute fiend in the passing game. He's an extremely dangerous weapon, particularly in PPR leagues.
The Colts haven't had a worthwhile back in quite some time, and Bradshaw comes in and instantly becomes the most accomplished of the group. He can catch passes and provide steady production on the ground, if his body can hold up.
