The Eagles have been gashed in the preseason by running backs and I think Morris will continue that trend in the season opener.
The Packers were 17th against fantasy backs last year, but Gore had over 100 yards rushing and scored a rushing touchdown in both contests against the Packers last year.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Washington will come out of the gate running the ball with Morris and there is a good chance the Eagles won’t be able to stop him. They won’t want to put Robert Griffin III in too much danger having just returned from injury so they’ll run to keep the defense from pinning their ears back and teeing off on him. This preseason the Eagles defense looked putrid and they aren’t going to be able to stop much of anything early on.
Last season Gore put a hurting on the Packers both in the regular season and the playoffs. In those two games he rushed 39 times for 231 yards and two touchdowns while also catching three passes for 49 yards. He should be a safe play at home for the opener.

Ran for close to 6 yards a carry in each of the two GB meetings last season.

In the perfect system for his skill set; will be more of a PPR asset this year

For some reason I think the Eagles could be moving at a super fast pace and therefore cause offenses on the opposite side of the ball to react in a similar manner. Which doesn't bode well for Alfred Morris in game one. Of course since it's week one, all bets are off.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Eagles stink on D still and Morris continues to be underrated.
Pack isn't great against run and he's feasted on them in recent meetings.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Not entirely sure why Morris seems so undervalued. As a rookie, he ran for over 1,600 yards with 13 touchdowns in a run-happy Redskins offense. He doesn't do much in terms of catching passes, but he's undoubtedly the top back in Washington.
Gore keeps putting up productive season after productive season. Just when people predict he'll start wearing down, he goes out and tops 1,200 yards with 8 touchdowns again. Prettay, prettay consistent.

Muntradamus
Beast Dome
With RGIII not likely being a power runner like he was in 2012. Alfred Morris will take all the short yardarge and goal line carries up the middle. Which makes RGIII a one dimensional outside runner. This makes Alfred Morris more valuable as a Fantasy Option because the Redskins will be trusting Morris more to get those 4-5 Yards Per Carry consistently as the defense will always have to be on their toes for RGIII to take off.
Frank the Tank will benefit with Kaepernick as his QB. Colin will get the 49ers in the Redzone often, and Frank is the man at cashing those in. Anquan Boldin gives the 9ers a solid option in the passing game who demands safety attention. This will give Gore even more room to roam in what should be a solid season.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Expect 1400+ rushing yards from Morris and double-digit TDs. Head Coach Mike Shanahan said that Morris has elevated his game and will be more involved in the passing game. As a Rookie in 2012, Morris finished the season with 1,610 rushing yards on 335 attempts as well as 11 receptions for 77 yards while totaling 13 TDs on the season. If we had a Facebook ”like” button, we would hit it.
Frank turns 30. That ominous year is typically the age that RBs tend to take a step back. Gore’s workload over the past three years has decreased. In 2010 Gore averaged 18 Carries Per Game, in 2011 – 17 Carries Per Game and in 2012 – 16 Carries Per Game. Gore has a talented backfield behind him in Kendall Hunter, LaMichael James and Marcus Lattimore. It’s obvious by San Fran’s drafting tendencies that they are waiting for the fall from grace. See Gore as a middle of the road RB2.
