The tale goes, once you experience Tom Brady, you can't go back. With no Aaron Hernandez or Wes Welker, Tom is no longer the #1 QB we always expect. Amendola/Gronk/Edelman still make up a solid WR crew. But let's be real, if Tony Romo was the QB of this squad it would be impossible to put him Top 5. Brady can get it done with any group, just may be a little harder to get those monster numbers.
The Colts are heading towards running a 2 TE offense with a west coast scheme. At least those 2 TEs would be Top 15 options if they were on separate teams, but West Coast in todays NFL does not work in Fantasy. Rich Gannon/Donovan McNabb/Brad Johnson were probably the best West Coast QBs of the early 2000s. Those 3400 Yards 27 TDs is not good anymore in todays down field bomb offenses.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
The Bills will be without their best corner (Stephon Gillmore) and Brady had 577 yards passing with 5 passing touchdowns and no picks against the Bills in 2 games last year. He is a solid QB1, especially with the Bills likely to start rookie UDFA QB Jeff Tuel. The Patriots figure to have good field position and plenty of scoring chances most of the day.
The Raiders ranked just 23rd against fantasy quarterbacks last year and Luck is leading one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
This is pretty obvious. Brady lost Hernandez, Gronk and Lloyd, but made the addition of injury prone WR Danny Amendola (man has he burnt me in multiple fantasy seasons). I expect Ridley to be the real fantasy option on this team, but hey you never know it is Tom Brady. QB is deep enough this season to not pay top price on Brady as there are plenty of options available.
With Bruce Arians gone, its unlikely that Luck will lead the league in passing attempts when throwing past the 20 yard mark. After having a year under his belt, Luck will be a more polished and efficient passer.

Brady is ready to make another core of WR look like All-Pros.
Luck vs. the Raiders at home, yes please.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
With Gronk's injury situation, as well as the respective departures of Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker, some are expecting Tom Brady's fantasy output to take a hit. While that may be the case to an extent, you'd be crazy to think he'll suddenly drop-off too suddenly.
The Colts look to have more of a West Coast offense type thing going on here with Luck's college coordinator now in the mix, which should help to limit his interception totals.

No one has ever owned one team more than Brady has Buffalo.
Oakland could be the worst team in the league.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
I look for New England to establish the run and as great as Tom Brady is, I think that he emphasis will be on the run and not the pass this week. Buffalo gave up the 6th most fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 19.6.
Oakland gave up the 7th most fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 19.5.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
The Bills are without top corner and Brady is a man on a mission. I expect a huge game.
Raiders are awful so it'd be a shock if Luck was anything short of amazing at home in week 1.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Brady owned the Bills last season averaging 288 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in their two matchups. For his career he has thrown 51 touchdowns against them in 22 games. He's also faced the Dolphins and Jets 22 times each and has thrown 38 and 31 touchdowns against them. I think he may like playing the Bills.
Luck missed much of his rookie year's off season work due to school and quickly had to learn a high risk/reward offense and it showed in his numbers, especially interceptions and completion percentage. Now with his old Stanford offense in place and a season under his belt we will see an even better, more efficient player. The Raiders have little in the way of defense and Luck will pick them apart. My only concern is him sitting in the 4th quarter.

Should be a QB1 for the next decade

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Sure, the faces have changed but Brady is still an epic field general, and, Buffalo was 7th most generous to opposing QBs in '12. They come into this one sans-Gilmore and with Byrd ailing.

Staff Rankings
Fantasy Football Freaks
The receiving corp has been shaken up, but expect Brady to remain the same, especially against the Bills - 26th against QB last year.
Luck looks to have a pretty tough schedule as of now with Oakland being the only opponent ranking in the bottom 10 against QB's.
