Jordan Cameron should be the Browns top target after Josh Gordon’s impending suspension has similarly left the Browns wideout corps a decrepit mess.
Antonio Gates is another option you can wait for despite his pedigree due to the Ladarius Green hype train.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Manziel will go to him a ton but new system and no Josh Gordon can't hurt.
I get that Green is a stud in the making, but Gates' ADP is disgusting. His value is insane right now.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
The loss of both Norv Turner and Chudzinski is a killer for Jordan Cameron as their offense led the NFL with 681 pass attempts last season. With Miles Austin set to become the WR1 in Cleveland, Jordan Cameron is by far the best receiving option in a weak Josh Gordonless Offense. We’re expecting Cameron’s 917 yard/7 TD 2013 performance to be even better in 2014, even in their Run Heavy Offense. Cameron ends the guaranteed weekly fantasy production tier for Tight Ends.
There are a couple things that pop out to us when analyzing Antonio Gates for 2014 … Number 1: Head Coach – Mike McCoy transitioned the offense from a quick-hitting passing attack to a more heavy run offense, as Rivers threw for 30+ Passing Attempts only once in the final six games of the season. Number 2: Ladarius Green – See below 2 inches. Green played on 59.7% of the Chargers’ offensive snaps over the final 7 games of last year, but stayed in to block 60.5% of the time. The Chargers continuously report that Green is taking more steps in his developmental process and will be a larger part of the offense in 2014. Number 3: Over the final 8 Games in 2013, Gates averaged 3.6 Receptions Per Game. As the season wore on, Gates’ production dwindled to dismal levels than that of where he was to begin the season. Ultimately: Due to the run heavy offense, consistent injury history, position competition within San Diego, age and dwindling production – we view Gates as a solid back-up TE for fantasy managers in 2014.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
The new offensive coordinator will hurt Cameron's upside, but he is still a huge target for the Browns.
He will continue to lose work do Green, but he can be a bye week filler.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Two ways to look at Cameron's offseason... 1) he lost OC and TE lover Norv Turner, the big reason we projected an upgrade in play last year, but 2) there isn't anyone left to pass to in Cleveland and Cameron showed great talent last year.
I get the excitement about Ladarius Green, but at least at this early stage of the offseason I'm not ready to ignore a productive season from the slow-footed, sure-handed Gates.

Brandon Funston
Yahoo! Sports
Offers 850-1,000 yard, 7-9 TD certainty in a CLE passing game, especially with go-to Gordon out for the year.

Sablich Brothers
The NY Times
The loss of Norv and Chud hurts, but the best receiving option by far if Gordon sits.
Just one double-digit fantasy game from weeks 12-17 last year. The mighty have fallen.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
Should shine this year with or without the help of Josh Gordon.
Perhaps two TEs can post good stats in SD offense, but his time is running out.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Cameron had 80 receptions for 917 yards and seven touchdowns with horrible quarterback play. He may not have any receiver help from WR Josh Gordon, who is facing a one-year suspension. Taking him out of the passing game will be a lot easier without Gordon on the field.
The days of Gates being a monster tight end in fantasy appear to be over. He is a Hall of Fame player, but he is past his prime and I think this is the year that Ladarius Green emerges as the top tight end in San Diego. Over the last eight games of last season (including playoffs), Gates managed a meager 3 receptions for 27.8 yards per game with only one touchdown.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
Jordan Cameron broke onto the scene last season despite the sub-par quarterback play in Cleveland. He had 917 yards (second best among tight ends) and seven scores. There is still room for improvement as the quarterback situation will improve in 2014 and he will be the only major receiving threat for the Browns after losing Josh Gordon (he's going to get major targets throughout the game).
The old man still produces by getting 872 yards and four scores a year ago. There is always questions regarding his ability to stay healthy and now there is a breakout star in the making in Ladarius Green behind him on the depth chart. His numbers should diminish a bit, but he is still worthy of a roster spot.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Cameron showed last season that he could be a top tight end. We are still waiting to hear about Josh Gordon's fate, but if he does miss time Cameron is easily their best receiver.
