Legion Report
MJD guys possesses the ability to bust, just as well as he does to have huge games. On another note, MJD says he is feeling completely healthy and back-to-normal. Enjoy the ride!

Muntradamus
Beast Dome
MJD is in a contract year, he also is in shape. Jones-Drew has to play himself into a big contract simply because he is trending in the wrong direction, and health is always a concern. While I want to jump on the bandwagon and say he will show up, I think it all depends on Chad Henne being the starting QB. I am ranking him as if that came true.
What to say about Bilal. Even if he starts, he is still a bench option. Mike Goodson will be playing the role that Powell played in 2012, Goodson is also a better RB.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
The Chiefs were just 26th against fantasy running backs last year, but I need to see MJD healthy and able to carry a workhorse back load before I rank him higher than a low RB2.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
KC is talented but they have to show something before I get scared. MJD should have the ball in his hands all day.
Powell is supposedly ahead of Ivory on the depth chart, so that's cause for concern. With this matchup, though, it may not matter.

Staff Rankings
FFLockerRoom
I expect MJD to start the season off on the right foot. Just don't expect crazy numbers, the Chiefs have some talented players on both sides of the ball.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
The Chiefs rush defense was on the poor side of poor last season giving up the sixth most rushing yards per game. This year they should have a better offense which may keep their defense from being on the field all the time and/or getting beat down with the run since the opposing team usually had the lead. Maurice Jones-Drew looked like he was ready to play this preseason even though they didn't let him do much, so you should throw him into the fire and see if he can swim.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Last year was a forgettable season for MJD, but he did lead the league in rushing in 2011 with over 1,600 yards. He's still pretty much the only thing the Jags' offense has.
Powell can catch passes, but little else.
