The receiving corp has been shaken up, but expect Brady to remain the same, especially against the Bills - 26th against QB last year.
Jordan Tozzi
Legion Report
This is pretty obvious. Brady lost Hernandez, Gronk and Lloyd, but made the addition of injury prone WR Danny Amendola (man has he burnt me in multiple fantasy seasons). I expect Ridley to be the real fantasy option on this team, but hey … you never know – it is Tom Brady. QB is deep enough this season to not pay top price on Brady as there are plenty of options available. After a phenomenal 2011 season, 2012 was a bit of a regression. Cam doesn’t rack up passing yards like other QBs, but his value is in the running game. Look for Newton to see about 600-700 rushing yards and 7-9 rushing TDs.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
The Bills are without top corner and Brady is a man on a mission. I expect a huge game.Newton has insane upside and is at home, but Seahawks are brutal and Panthers have been terrible on O all summer.
Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
With Gronk's injury situation, as well as the respective departures of Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker, some are expecting Tom Brady's fantasy output to take a hit. While that may be the case to an extent, you'd be crazy to think he'll suddenly drop-off too suddenly.Newton's passing numbers weren't as gaudy in 2012 as they were during his rookie 2011 season, but his status as a dual-threat QB is the reason he's this high. He's rushed for 22 TDs and over 1,400 yards in two seasons as a pro.

Brady is ready to make another core of WR look like All-Pros.
Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Sure, the faces have changed but Brady is still an epic field general, and, Buffalo was 7th most generous to opposing QBs in '12. They come into this one sans-Gilmore and with Byrd ailing. It wasn't an overly nice preseason and a matchup against Seattle isn't a favorable way for Mike Shula's offense to start... but, by virtue of his legs, at worst, Newton should be a factor.

Super Cam would be higher if the Panthers would just get him a legit 2nd receiver
Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Brady owned the Bills last season averaging 288 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in their two matchups. For his career he has thrown 51 touchdowns against them in 22 games. He's also faced the Dolphins and Jets 22 times each and has thrown 38 and 31 touchdowns against them. I think he may like playing the Bills. The Seahawks pass defense is possibly the best in the league. Last season in SeattleNewton passed for a paltry 141 yards against them and rushed for 42 with no touchdowns. For the season only two quarterbacks passed for over 300 yards against them, Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford. They also only allowed over 2 touchdowns to a quarterback one time and that was also to Stafford. Thankfully Newton is at home this time around and last year he was horrible early in the season. And he's still a th...
Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Sports Empire
I look for New England to establish the run and as great as Tom Brady is, I think that he emphasis will be on the run and not the pass this week. Buffalo gave up the 6th most fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 19.6.Seattle gave up the fewest fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 11.4.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
The Bills will be without their best corner (Stephon Gillmore) and Brady had 577 yards passing with 5 passing touchdowns and no picks against the Bills in 2 games last year. He is a solid QB1, especially with the Bills likely to start rookie UDFA QB Jeff Tuel. The Patriots figure to have good field position and plenty of scoring chances most of the day.Cam is a very talented player and will have a huge fantasy season, but not this week. Cam had just 141 yards passing, 42 yards rushing and no passing or rushing touchdowns against the Seahawks last year. I expect better numbers than that this year, but he is a QB2 in the opener.

No one has ever owned one team more than Brady has Buffalo.

The tale goes, once you experience Tom Brady, you can't go back. With no Aaron Hernandez or Wes Welker, Tom is no longer the #1 QB we always expect. Amendola/Gronk/Edelman still make up a solid WR crew. But let's be real, if Tony Romo was the QB of this squad it would be impossible to put him Top 5. Brady can get it done with any group, just may be a little harder to get those monster numbers.Super Cam really turned it up at the end of last season playing like the 1st round pick we know he could be. The Panthers are going with Don Schula as their head coach, which has led to a bromance between the star QB. Something we never saw with Ron Rivera. This offense is geared towards Cam being a super hero.
