Bell showed a lot of promise in his rookie season with 1,259 yards from scrimmage and eight total touchdowns. I look for him to stay healthy this season and have a strong second year. He may lose a few goal line carries to RB LeGarrette Blount, who signed there as a free agent. He made a bad decision being charged DUI and marijuana possession, but he should not be suspended this season.
Johnson was viewed as a disappointment last year, but still finished as the 9th overall fantasy running back with 1,422 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns. He should lead the New York Jets in rushing attempts, but he will be in a timeshare with RB Chris Ivory.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
He missed three games last year and his combined stats for the remainder of the season were outstanding. He has huge upside and is a favorite RB selection for 2014.
His role as an every down back are fading and he is going to be a bit of a gamble pick and may go too early in drafts.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
Likely won't miss time due to recent DUI/marijuana possession.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Bell isn't going to blow you away with his speed, but he's fundamentally sound in all aspects of the game and the Steelers finished strong last season on offense while their defense is faltering. Bell should be a big part of this offense and never comes off the field.
Not sure what to do with CJwhocaresK. He still has the speed and skill, but can you trust him to break a tackle? Sometimes, yes, so he has to be drafted. He'll be up and down all season, but put up a few big games to keep you believing.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Pittsburgh did bring in some help but Bell is a workhorse with some nice versatility. He'll threaten for a top-10 spot.
CJ2k wants 2k yds again. Not too likely without a true feature role, but he can still offer RB2 upside.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
Finished with 8 rushing TDs in his rookie season last year. Bell will be the featured back, despite the signing of LeGarrette Blount. Not an exciting pick, but Pittsburgh will run the ball.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
Bell showed flashes of being a great three-down back last season, if he can build on that and the entire Steeler offense can grow this season, he should be in the top ten without a doubt.
CJ2K may not be a Titan heading into the season, make sure to keep track of his situation during the off season. Word is that the Titans have put Chris on the trading block. But that won't do any good. No one will take that contract, we will have to wait when the Titans finally release him.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
A versatile, every-down back with a nose for the end zone.
Wildly erratic from week to week. Let someone else deal with the frustration.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Potential workhorse will see some carries and goal-line touches vultured by Blount
Chris Johnson has joined the New York Jets and anyone who does not recognize the fear a Michael Vick/Chris Johnson tandem will instill in opposing defensive coordinators has not been following football close enough. The ‘fastest backfield ever built’ could propel the Jets to the playoffs and Johnson to RB1 numbers...but Geno Smith is being pushed by team brass to be the starter limiting Johnson’s fantasy value. Chris Ivory is a legit threat to steal carries but it would be very surprising to see Ivory not miss games with an injury or two this season.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
The Steelers RB is expected to hit 300 carries in 2014 and his versatility and receiving ability makes him an electric option to roster. In 2013, Bell notched 45 receptions for 399 Yards. Look for Bell to take a step forward in 2014 and don’t be surprised if he finishes the season higher than our current rankings show.
Rex Ryan said Chris “CJ?K” Johnson was “flying” in the mandatory conditioning running. CJ?K was recently cleared after surgery on his 2013 torn meniscus injury. He’s in line to share a workload with Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell and remains a low end RB2. Remember when Chris Johnson GUARANTEED to rush for 2,500 yards and win MVP, Geno Smith has GUARANTEED the Playoffs to New York in 2014 and Rex Ryan GUARANTEES everything. In other news, ESPN New York expects a timeshare/backfield by committee approach between CJ?K and Powell/Ivory this season. Johnson will see much less volume than he did in Tennessee and shouldn’t be viewed as the option he was in years past.
