Shady has Sproles in town so his value could see a minor hit. He'll still be a top three back, easily.
Spiller is a freak but due to health issues his role will have to change. That doesn't mean he's suddenly a scrub, though.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
With Darren Sproles now in Philly, we would have to think Shady sees a slight dip in touches. But he's still a top 5 back, no doubt.
I'm still a huge believer in C.J. and hopefully this is the year he pays off for his owners. But Fred Jackson is lurking and still proved to be a valuable player on the field.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR

Buffalo has flirted with a few backs this season, but I view that as more an intention to replace Fred Jackson (long term) than I do to take opportunities from Spiller.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
Finished 1st in rushing yards with 1,607. Had the heaviest RB workload with 314 rushing attempts. The addition of Darren Sproles will result in fewer carries, but with more emphasis on an up tempo offense, McCoy will see enough touches to make him a top fantasy pick.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
He is an absolute beast in Philly's high-flying offense. Worried about this potential turf toe issue, but McCoy is very strong so he can play through it. Something to worry about though with players like AP, Charles and Lacy available.
He didn't find the end-zone enough last year and has been battling with injuries. He has incredible upside if you are willing to gamble but make sure you have some back-up options.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
I prefer him to Charles simply because his offensive line is better.
A high-risk, high-reward pick. I'm willing to make a substantial bet on his talent.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
In Chip Kelly's offense, even with the presence of Darren Sproles, the sky is the limit for McCoy fantasy wise. His minor toe and thumb issues aren't a concern, but Sproles is a must-own.
Huge injury concerns, lots of upside outside of the top 30 overall. Is the risk built into the investment? Probably.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
McCoy is a hot #1 pick this season and for good reason. If I could label Charles and Shady 1a and 1b I'd be happy to. Chip Kelly's offense will once again be run heavy and McCoy was up to the task last season.
Spiller is too good to let slip far on draft day, but he doesn't come without plenty of risk. The offense is a run first offense and Spiller is the lead back. He has the ability to take over a game and put up huge numbers, but also has the ability to tweak something and play hurt for a few weeks.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
The Eagles Offensive Line will not be itís best until Week 5 when RT Lane Johnsonís suspension is up. From Week 5 on, theyíll have one of the leagues best, if not best, Offensive Lines. Regardless, we expect LeSean McCoy and his 2013 League Leading 314 rushing attempts on his league leading 1607 rush yards to head the pack again in 2014. We donít expect the acquisition of 31 year old Darren Sproles to hinder McCoyís production as he only ran the ball 4 times a game in NOLA last year and has nowhere near the same speed. The Eagles 65.4 plays per game last year ranked 12th in the league and Chip Kelly looks to increase the tempo to result in more plays per game. The Eagles play Dallas in Week 15 (Fantasy Playoff Game) who gave up a league worst 23.0 Fantasy points per game to opposing RBs last year!
Spiller admitted that thereís a big difference in the teams running game with a year of experience under their belt in the new offensive running scheme. With this being said, Bills coaches want Spiller to touch the ball 20 times this season. They said the same last year Ė they wanted him to run until he got sick. With a deep backfield, we donít see this being too realistic. There are two things that limited Spillerís production last season. The first, E.J. Manuel. Manuel struggled mightily last season in every aspect of being an NFL QB. This resulted in the Bills running the ball, a league high 546 times while defenses continued to pack it in. Secondly, Spiller was playing hurt a majority of the season while the Bills continued to throw him in between tackles. Thatís not Spillerís game. He succeeds off of screens, pitches, etc. The Bills need to establish the passing game for a now healthy Spiller to create space in order for him to be more effective.

Usage won't be as high as you want it to, and will likely lose out on a handful of touchdowns to Fred Jackson.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
McCoy turns 26-years old this year and has only 1149 career carries. In the fast paced run oriented offense of Chip Kelly, McCoy should be highly ranked again in 2014. I don't expect the departure of WR DeSean Jackson to impact McCoy that much, the Eagles should still have a strong running game.
I am becoming less of a fan of the Buffalo coaching staff. They have one of the most explosive players in the NFL, but they refuse to give him the ball in space and they seem fascinated with Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon. Spiller has the most talent of the running backs on this team, but he is misused on a weekly basis.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
LeSean McCoy should continue to flash brilliance in Chip Kellyís high octane offense though he will more than likely see a reduction in receptions this season with Darren Sproles in town to steal some of those targets and keep the pace Chip Kelly desires.
CJ Spiller has ton of talent but does not seem capable of being a feature back and will compete for snaps with the ageless Fred Jackson and Bryce Brown who was brought in from Philly. Spiller has more value in PPR formats as the Bills will attempt to utilize Spiller is space to play to his strengths.
