The Fake Football
Scott Linehan gave Reggie Bush and Joique Bell over 100 receptions last season and Murray should easily see 50 this year while also being the primary back along with goal line back.
Vereen should be the main pass catching back for the Patriots. He has tremendous upside, but will have some down games with Belichick's varying offensive schemes.

DeMarco Murray when healthy has top-five talent
Shane Vereen looks like the back to own in New England and if he can somehow manage to stay healthy he can scoop up 200 plus carries and 70 plus receptions making him a player with RB1 upside, especially in PPR formats.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
Injury history is mildly concerning, but his talent is near-elite.
Questionable durability, uncertain week-to-week usage. Overrated.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Health is always a concern with Murray, but he was the 7th ranked fantasy running back in 2013, thanks to 1,471 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns.
The Patriots are likely to be a crowded backfield in 2014. Vereen should be the third down back with the most value. Stevan Ridley secured a victory when RB LeGarrette Blount signed with Pittsburgh, but expect Ridley to face competition in training camp, because of his past fumbling problems.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Scott Linehan's offense ranked in the top 20 in attempts just once while in Detroit, so the pass/run ratio could skew even heavier in Dallas this season... nevertheless, Murray has proven efficient and possesses game breaking ability.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
Games played: 2011 (13), 2012 (10), 2013 (14). If DeMarco can stay healthy for the first time in his career, he should finish in the top 10 in fantasy scoring for RBs. Odds are that he does not. This is too risky a pick this early in league drafts.
I nice value pick at RB, especially if you wait on drafting your #1 RB.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
He had combined yards of almost 1,500 yards last year and double digit TDs. He is a solid PPR RB.
Only consider Vereen in PPR leagues.

Sablich Brothers
The NY Times
6th best PPR back in 2013 could see a boost in recs with ex-DET OC Linehan now in Dallas.
Outsnaps Ridley 26 to 6 in third preseason game.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Murray surprisingly scored the 7th most Fantasy Points in the RB position last season. With the addition of OC Scott Linehan, we love Dallas for Fantasy Value. Linehan managed to get Rams Steven Jackson 90 catches in 2006. Reggie Bush caught 53 balls last year and Joique Bell caught 50+ balls in each season under Linehan. Itís safe to say Linehan will be very creative with Murray this season featuring him a lot in the passing game. This is actually good news for Murray as it will keep him healthy by limiting the running game, the same way they kept injury prone Reggie Bush healthy in Detroit. With the porous Dallas Defense expect many high scoring games and many shootouts as DeMarco Murray will be a major benefactor from this.
We absolutely loved Shane Vereen last season as we pegged him as our Biggest 2013 Fantasy Football Sleeper. We felt good after his dominate Week 1 performance before going down to injury. In 10 games last season he still managed 761 Total yards with 7 Touchdowns. With Aaron Dobson slated to start camp on the PUP list alongside Gronkowski, expect Vereen to line up as RB, Slot-WR and Outside-WR. That being said, Vareen will see touches one way or the other. Look for him to be an X-Factor for the New England Offense. Be prepared for a breakout season!

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Murray is a stud when healthy. Hopefully he can play in all 16 games this year.
Vereen has explosive talent and a big role but health continues to be a factor.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
Murray has the talent, but he still has a touch of injury risk to his name. Just a touch. Another strong season and he will shake that, but for me, Murray is a top 16-18 overall player, not a top 12 like some have him slotted. He can earn that value, no doubt, but I think it's better to minimize the risk and make him more of mid-to-late second, not a top 12 guy.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
I do think that when healthy and able to get the touches he deserves, DeMarco is a stud running back. But his lack of touches sometimes baffles me and his injury history gives me pause.
Vereen will plenty of value as the multi-purpose back for the Patriots but he should excel in PPR leagues. Ridley is the early down runner for now but don't bite on him with rookie James White waiting in the wings to take his snaps. Vereen is the only trust worthy back in New England.

Brandon Funston
Yahoo! Sports
Have to like 118/1 rush line in W1 vs. SF even w/ DAL trailing big early since that could be common scenario for DAL in '14
Love his schedule, and even in off-day for NE in W1, still managed a solid fantasy line (71 YFS, TD)
