Finally Bowe has a capable QB throwing to him. From Kyle Orton to Matt Cassel and a bunch of QBs who do not play in the NFL ever again after their few game stint with the Chiefs. Bowe gets Alex Smith, and most importantly Andy Reid. Look for the Chiefs to pass the ball often, while also giving the ball to Jamaal Charles often. Smith knows how to get the ball into #1 WR hands, Michael Crabtree had his moments, Bowe is a much better player.
Kevin Kolb is the worst thing that can happen to any WR. He almost made Larry Fitzgerald a WR#3 in 2012, after making that more than the case in 2011. Do yourself a favor and avoid any WRs in a Kevin Kolb offense, this guy might lose a QB battle to Mark Sanchez.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Bowe starts his rebound season on a solid note in Jacksonville, a team that was 13th against fantasy receivers last year. Still, Bowe should see too many targets to be anything less than a WR2.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
He's the main threat for the Chiefs in the passing game and Reid likes the passing game. The Jaguars defense will be improved under Gus Bradley, but they'll still have trouble getting to the quarterback. Bowe should be able to get a bunch of targets with his competition in the Chiefs lineup not being much.
I'm weary of the Bills passing game with Manuel in his debut, but if Johnson works in the slot he may be able to get enough work to have value.

Staff Rankings
FFLockerRoom
Bowe should be considered a low-end No.2 Fantasy WR with a ton of upside and chance to be a must-start option depending on how he clicks with Alex Smith and develops under Andy Reid. Bowe is worth drafting in Rounds 5-6, any later he's a steal as a 2013 Bounce Back candidate.
Despite poor QB play, a commitment to the running game and general loack of talent around him (accept for C.J Spiller) all Stevie continues to do is produce numbers. He's produced 76-plus receptions, 6 touchdowns and 1,004-plus yards in each of his last 3 seasons and with the improvement made at QB we should plan to see those numbers again. Johnson is a low-end No.2/SOLID No.3 Fantasy WR

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Bowe should have a nice start to the year against weak Jags D.
He seems to think Pats can't stop him. At least he's at home with Manuel starting.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Andy Reid loves him some big, T.O.-esque receivers, and Dwayne Bowe most certainly fits the bill. Alex Smith isn't great, but he's surely an upgrade over Matt Cassel and Brady Quinn.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR

Johnson looks to be all systems go and the Bills will have to throw the ball plenty this week against the Pats. Still, with an offseason injury and a rookie QB don't expect much beyond low-end WR3 numbers.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League

Rock Solid WR3 but may cost WR2 price

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
This Spring Dwayne Bowe predicted he would lead the NFL in catches and in receiving Touchdowns. As far as the passing game goes, Bowe says, “when the real season starts, that’s when you’ll see bombs over Bagdad.”
When he’s healthy, he’s great. That’s the problem though, he never is. Stevie from Buffalo has been battling a sore hamstring and will likely be out for the rest of the preseason. With a sore hamstring and rookie QB in Doug Marrone’s Run First Offense, Stevie from Buffalo looks to be a risky fantasy pick.
