Bernard finished his rookie season as the 16th ranked fantasy back, despite tallying only 170 rushing attempts and 56 receptions. He should have a bigger role in the Bengals offense this year and be a Top 10 running back. Think Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice in his second year with the Ravens.
Fitzgerald bounced back last year with 10 touchdown receptions, but still had only 82 receptions and 954 yards. Until the Cardinals find a good quarterback, Fitzgerald is a fantasy WR2.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
I love watching Gio run on the field. He is an outstanding RB talent and his PPR upside is amazing. He will be given more workload in 2014 and will see double-digit TDs.
He may find a new home in 2014, but even if he doesn't he finds a way to put up consistent fantasy numbers. A new home would be a huge upside for Fitzgeralds upside.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
I rank Gio Bernard higher than most, and I think he actually has top 5RB upside (with 60-70 reception capability). At No. 14 overall value here, but even later in many recent drafts (I've seen him go as late as 18-20 overall), that's value!

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Gio is very much on the rise. There is tons to love about his game and role for 2014.
If he wasn't banged up for numerous games he would have been even better last year. Palmer brought him back to life. Expect a bigger 2014.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
He'll be worth a first-round pick even if touch volume increases only slightly.
Hasn't been pairing big TD and yardage totals the way he used to.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Bernard is one of my favorite players this season. He gets Hue Jackson to help make the run game better and bigger and he's still a great 3rd down/receiving back. We may see Jeremy Hill near the goal line, but i don't believe it will be 100% of the time and Jackson will give enough looks to Gio for it not to be a huge detriment.
Fitz is still in his prime as far as wide receivers go and the Cardinals looked much better in the second half last season as they took to Bruce Arians' offense. This tier of wid receivers is very close for me and I'll be happy with any of them.

Brandon Funston
Yahoo! Sports
10 targets (6/62) tops among RBs in W1; Rookie Hill no threat to workload in opener (20 touches for Gio, 4 for Hill)

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
With the system in place from Hue Jackson, Bernard has the most to gain. Expect big things from Gio this season.
After five straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons, Fitz has gone two straight seasons without breaking that plateau. The 30-year-old star laid out his 2014 goals in response to a question about his recent contract restructuring and whether the team can afford to keep him in 2015. Fitzgerald is entering a contract season and with the hopes of getting back to that 1,300 to 1,400-plus yard range. Fitzgerald has posted three 1,400- plus yard seasons (2005, 2007 and 2011). He caught a career-high 13 touchdowns in 2009 and is looking to get back to that level of production.

Sablich Brothers
The New York Times
Will handle featured run/pass duties in new OC Jackson's run first scheme.
Arians will deploy the aging star much like he did with Wayne. Better PPR pick.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Out with the old and in with the new in Cincy! Many people may not recognize that Bernard didn’t start a single game in 2013, but Marvin Lewis and the Gang expect big things as Bernard is expected to be used heavily in the Cinci Offense. Previous OC Jay Gruden allowed Andy Dalton to toss 586 passes last season (The Red Rifle averaged 543 Passing Attempts over the past 3 Seasons). New OC Hue Jackson is dedicated to the ground game and the philosophy will be adapted in 2014. Expect Bernard to be heavily utilized (touching the ball around 300 times) as a dual-threat this season with huge break-out potential. (BTW – Bernard had 56 Receptions in 2013, which was 8th amongst RB’s)
Like Reggie Wayne, Fitz was primarily an outside receiver. With age, Coach Bruce Arians moved the 33 year old Colts WR Reggie Wayne inside where he saw a rejuvenated 195 Targets while catching 106 balls for 1355 yards with the 2012 Colts. Bruce Arians wants to do the same with 30 year old Larry Fitzgerald in 2014. “Guys lose a step at age 30,” say Arians. “They accept it, they want to become better players, they say help me become a better player than when I was 26. This is how you do it,” explains Arians for moving Fitz around to for better matchups. Larry Fitzgerald is a great bet to surpass his rough 954 yard 2013 performance and will remain a double digit TD scorer for the Cards.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Giovani Bernard will approach RB1 numbers this year especially in PPR formats but lost a bit of his appeal when the Bengals drafted the talented Jeremy Hill to replace BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Still the best receiver on the Cardinals but Floyd closing in fast, both capable of WR2 numbers

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
Bernard had 3 receiving TDs and 5 rushing TDs in 2013, resulting in over 1,200 all purpose yards. Better in PPR formats, Bernard could be good for 4-5 receptions per game this season. I see Bernard with at least 300 touches this season. He is a low RB1.

Evan Silva
Rotoworld
Will lose work to Jeremy Hill; upgrade in PPR.
High-volume focus of Bruce Arians' pass game.
