James Jones is a No.2 Fantasy WR that owners should expect to be drafted in Rounds 5 and 6. All he did last year was lead NFL receivers in touchdowns with 14, pick up career-highs in receptions (64) and yards (784) and finish with 9 games with 10-plus Fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues (tied for 4th-best). Jones served as a monster in the red zone, cashing in 11 of 19 regular-season targets for touchdowns as well as playing in 91.5 percent of the offensive snaps for the Packers.
Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
In two games last season Jones averaged 4 receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. You can't beat that with a stick.
Jordan Tozzi
Legion Report
If Nelson misses time, I expect James Jones to easily fill his spot. Jones is more of a Red Zone Target, but with Cobb and Nelson banged up, look for Jones to emerge out of the Packer WR Corps.Rams top Cornerback - Cortland Finnegan said Rookie WR Tavon Austin is almost impossible to cover because of how fast he is. Austin runs a 4.29 40 yard dash and has the skill set to develop into a player like Percy Harvin. Keep him in mind at the end of your keeper league draft.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
He won't be as good as he was last year, but he'll be more open than Cobb or Nelson in this one.Love his upside but be showed nothing in preseason and could draw Patrick Peterson.
Muntradamus
Beast Dome
While we want to get excited about James Jones, the Packers offense has too much talent in 2013. Everything from JerMichael Finley to a contract year, to Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson both being the #1/#2 WRs. James is one of the best 3rd WRs in the league, but his inconsistency could drive you nuts as a fantasy owner.Tavon is a little risky coming into 2013. He is someone who can drop in the Rankings quick with a bad preseason as the Rams have not committed to make Austin the #1 Target. Although Tavon has Percy Harvin upside, the Rams look to be taking it slower than they should with the rookie. Things can change quickly though as the #1 WR in a Sam Bradford offense is not a bad WR#3 by any means.
