Win My Fantasy League
Pierre Thomas saw 77 receptions last season and should approach that number again with Darren Sproles out of town. Some believe Mark Ingram will finally get feature back looks but Thomas will remain a fantasy asset regardless of how Ingram performs this season due to Thomasí superior hands out of the backfield.
Jonathan Stewart is the lead back in Carolina but with Cam Newton stealing carries and vulturing touchdowns and with DeAngelo Williams still on the roster Stewart is no more than an upside RB3. Stewart has not been able to stay healthy in his career and despite RB1 talent is ranked much lower than that.

Staff Rankings
2MugsFF

If healthy, this might even be too low of a ranking. There is a lot to like in his game, and he's 4 years younger than DeAngelo Williams.

Sablich Brothers
The NY Times
Better PPR option as he'll operate almost exclusively as the passing down back.
Looked good during preseason wk 2 but how long before he gets hurt?

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Role has taken a hit and is in full blown RBBC.
Stewart isn't the guy he once was. He needs to stay healthy to earn back trust.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
These darn New Orleans RB's are going to continue to drive fantasy owners up-the-wall. Don't touch them unless the value is great. They will once again be splitting time on any given Sunday.
Darn you Stewart. Scoring two touchdowns in the second preseason game will only hurt more people in fantasy. Just stop it. Stop it I say.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Thomas is the only running back now in New Orleans that will see multiple targets per game and he will make good use of them.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
May well be the Saints' best RB, but he's destined to be a committee member.
We know he's talented, but he's also as fragile as a glass chandelier.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
On the positive side, he had 147 rushes for 549 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 77 receptions for 513 yards and three touchdowns. The negative is he turns 30-years old in December and is in the last year of his contract. The Saints pass the ball a ton, Thomas will have RB3 value, even if he does not lead the team in carries.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Pierre Thomas has never had more than 150 Rushing Attempts in a Season, he has only once accumulated over 700 Rushing Yards and will not light up the scoreboard with TDís for fantasy owners. With Darren Sproles out of town, there will be a level of consistency associated with his 77 Receptions from last season. Thomasí numbers are balanced between rushing and receiving yards, but he is a much better option in PPR Leagues due to the uptempo NOLA Offense and the receptions that he grabs as benefactor to that aerial assault.
