Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
Broke the mold for rookies wide receivers making a fantasy impact last season. Look for Allen to lead SD in receptions and draft him as a low WR1.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
One of the rookies from 2013; he will continue is streak with Phillip Rivers and he is an easy fantasy selection this year.
Hakeem Nicks and Reggie Wayne will keep Hilton from seeing too many double teams but will also limit his upside.

Sablich Brothers
The NY Times
Hard-pressed to improve on last year's breakout in a run-first offense.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
Here is your hidden top 5-8 fantasy WR if there is one hidden outside of the top 30 overall players heading into 2014!

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
May be even better with Floyd running clear-out routes
Weekly boom or bust especially with healthy Wayne and Nicks now in the fold which makes him more of a flex than WR3

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
No reason to be skeptical of strong rookie year. He's a peach.
A fly-pattern guy who could be target-challenged. Let someone else overpay.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Allen had an impressive rookie season with 71 receptions for 1,046 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. His numbers should improve, due to having a year of experience under his belt and being their top receiver in Week 1. However, do not expect a huge jump, because the Chargers are going to be a run oriented offense in 2014.
Hilton was a bit inconsistent in his second year, but he still finished with 82 receptions for 1,083 yards and five receiving touchdowns. I think he makes the jump to elite fantasy receiver in his third season and displays more consistency.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Tough schedule to begin and end the season. Bust Potential is eminent.
When Reggie Wayne went down last season with an ACL injury, Hilton averaged 6 catches for 74.5 yards on more than 9 Targets per game. ďHilton is clearly the one reciever, and Reggie Wayne is the two,Ē according to SB Nation Ė Stampede Blue. Hakeem Nicks will come in on 3 WR sets manning the outside, while Reggie Wayne will then move to the slot. Draft Pick Donte Moncrief will lineup as the WR4 as the Colts plan to use Hilton/Moncrief as Luckís future WR duo. With Nicksí recent motivational slack, itís only good news for the Playmaker Hilton. While implementing a two Tight End set in healthy Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener, and the addition of Nicks, itís hard to imagine Hilton will see 139 Targets again in a Run Heavy Offense. However, we still like Hilton with Andrew Luck throwing him the ball Ė we especially like his Week 16 Dallas Cowboys matchup.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
Allen was named Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America after bursting onto the scene with 71 receptions for 1,046 yards and 8 touchdowns. Allen and owners can expect a bit tougher second season. Not only will the focus of quarterback Philip Rivers be on Allen but teams are expected to play their No.1 defensive backs up against Allen.
Now the Colts will bring back Wayne and have added Hakeem Nicks, moves that should free up Hilton to see time as a big-play deep threat and not a possession-type wideout. Thatís a blessing and a curse: Hilton should thrive in that role but his opportunities could be limited because Wayne and Nicks could hog targets. Donít mistake last season as a breakout year because he had 1,000 yards receiving, BUT he had just two games with touchdowns and another two games with over 100 yards. Consistency was a problem for him then and will probably remain a problem now. Donít draft Hilton unless it means heíll be your No. 3 or No. 4Fantasy receiver, and donít reach for him.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Showed he has the talent and drive as a rookie. Did he already plateau, though?
Displayed #1 WR ability but will have to contend with Wayne and Nicks. Probably only a WR2.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Allen was a stud last season. I think he'll be fine this year, but I do worry somewhat with Malcom Floyd returning and the Chargers wanting to slow down the game. He'll be pretty touchdown dependent and I could see Floyde and Green hurting him there a little.
