Against Carolina the only worry for us is that Lynch might get to rest if the score gets to lopsided.Did you say SJAX vs the Saints... yes please!
Jordan Tozzi
Legion Report
In 2012, the Seahawks led the NFL in rushing attempts. Seattle Offensive Coordinator confirmed recently that Seattle will continue to use their run first based offense in 2013. Lynch finished 2013 with 1,600 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. Buy with confidence.Jackson will see more end-zone exposure now that heís in Atlanta. Although Jackson possesses the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, we arenít expecting that to be Atlantaís bread and butter - due to their RB/WR weapon of Jacquizz Rodgers. Look for double-digit TDs and around 1,250 yards from Jackson in 2013.
Muntradamus
Beast Dome
BEAST MODE can run for 100 Yards/1 TD against any opponent. The Seahawks are going to be the team to beat and the addition of Percy Harvin makes this offense so much better. If the defense has to worry about the pass, Marshawn can tear you up.Redzone opportunities are exactly what Steven Jackson owners will not be lacking. S-Jax moves to a high scoring, high flying Falcons offense that is ready to make a run for the Superbowl. Jackson will have 6 men at the box to defend the pass, which will lead to a Huge holes for the BRICK HOUSE RB. The Falcons plan to throw to S-Jax plenty this season as well. Lot's to be excited about, Jackson still has gas in the tank showing off with 146 Total Yards and 7 Receptions in his Rams Home Fi...
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Lynch is coming off a monster season where he had 1,590 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. He should have a big game against a Panthers D that was just 22nd against fantasy running back in 2012. He hadThe Falcons will be an equal opportunity destroyer of the Saints Defense. They will put up big numbers in the passing game, but they will also make sure they run the ball enough to put up big numbers there as well.
Staff Rankings
Fantasy Football Freaks
Expecting his first game as a Falcon to be a memorable one with at least 1 score. The Saints were dead last against the run in 2012.

Top five potential but backfield getting crowdedElite back finally in an elite offense
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
On the road against improving CAR run D. Could be a toss-up.NO defense is atrocious so -Jax could be a great play in week 1.
Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Lynch made the West-East trip to Carolina last year and the entire Seahawks team came off the plane flat. He posted just 9 fantasy points in that matchup. While it won't take much to improve on New Orleans' rush defense in relative to their 2012 season, game one in a new system that their personnel may not be ideally suited for doesn't seem like a great time to bet on a massive turnaround.
Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Lynch had the best overall year of his career in 2012, topping 1,500 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns. The Seahawks should be looking to throw more this year than they did last year, but Lynch will still be fantastic. Now that he's out from behind the awful St. Louis O-line, Jackson might actually start scoring touchdowns. He'll have plenty of opportunities in the red zone with the Falcons, and he could be in for a bit of a fantasy renaissance.
Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
The Panthers defense gave up the 7th most fantasy points to running backs last season. Lynch did face the Panthers and had a pedestrian 21 carries for 85 yards and no touchdowns, but if I can get 20+ carries from Lynch against any team the odds of him scoring a touchdown are great. He drops in PPR leagues, but in standard you set him and forget him.Unless all of the running backs from the team facing the Saints have been brutally murdered in a pregame squabble with Whodatters then you start one of them.
