Re-Signed with the Patriots for 4-years $17 million. Coming off a career year where he posted 105 receptions for 1,056 yards and 4 touchdowns. It's a much better deal for the Pats than their 5-year, $28.5 million commitment to Danny Amendola appears through one season. Amendola is locked into a roster spot for 2014, but the Patriots could save $2.1 million in salary cap space by releasing him next offseason. The Edelman deal magnifies that 2015 is a make-or-break year for Amendola in New England.
Re-signed to a 5-year, $25 million dollar contract with the Eagles.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
In theory, the development of the rest of the receiving corps and the presumed good health of Gronkowski cuts into Edelman's top10 target load, but can only drop him so far after impressive, reliable, durable 2013.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Edelman emerged as a big target in the Patriots offense, finishing the season with 105 receptions for 1,056 yards and six receiving touchdowns. He is the Patriots receiver to own right now, but will probably not see as many targets as he did a year ago.
Cooper posted 47 receptions for 835 yards and eight touchdowns last year. The problem is that five of those touchdowns came in back-to-back games against the Raiders and the Packers. With WR DeSean Jackson gone, he has low WR4 value. I do not see him duplicating his 2013 season.

Sablich Brothers
The New York Times
Outstanding preseason. Clearly Brady's number one wideout.
Philly passing game has plenty of mouths to feed. He'll likely struggle with consistency.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
A lot of Edelman’s success last year came from being the only legit option in New England. In 2013 TE Gronkowski missed 13 games, RB Vereen missed 8 games, WR Amendola missed 4 games, WR Dobson missed 4 games and WR Thompkins missed 4 games – that’s a lot of Targets gone for Tom Brady. Edelman was Tom Brady’s only consistent WR which resulted in his 1000+ yard season. With everyone back this year, Edelman will have a hard time receiving the 151 Targets he received in 2013. He’s still a High-End WR3 with WR2 upside in a New England Offense that has had their trouble with injured players.
Cooper will continue to lack a consistent role in Chip Kelly’s 2014 Eagles Offense where he saw a 50th ranked 83 Targets in 2013. With the departure of DeSean Jackson – a healthy Jeremy Maclin will fill that void. A likely emerging role for TE Zach Ertz, new addition Darren Sproles and Rookie slot reciever Jordan Mathews will steal a majority of those Targets away from Cooper in 2014. DeSean Jackson took the Defensive secondary away from Cooper last season, where Cooper saw man coverage and no safety over the top. Cooper is looking at a much tougher year as a WR2 with Maclin at WR1 and an attentive defense.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
Numbers will fall off if Gronk, Dobson, Amendola stay healthy.
Fluky 2013 breakout? His size, Eagles' potency are reasons to buy back in.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
PPR machine. He's the new Wes Welker and only injury will make that stop.
He runs good routes and knows how to make plays on the ball. Probably just a high end WR3 but you might be able to get away with him as a WR2 now that D-Jax is gone.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
There are a lot of choices in New England, but injuries left Edelman as the de facto choice last season and he shined in PPR leagues.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
PPR monster on the Patriots. He showed that he can be the reliable option for Brady and he will find a way to post a ton of receptions, 1,000+ yards and near double digit TDs.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Solid flex option, worry usage could go down if Thompkins and Dobson take looks on outside and Amendola somehow stays healthy in slot
Forced into big role last season due to lack of depth behind Maclin will not have same luxury with Matthews and Huff in town
