Fantasy Impact: Jefferson continues to await a contract extension from the Vikings. With the workouts being voluntary, he will not be fined. Fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on Jefferson’s status as we get close to training camp.

Fantasy Impact: Dobbs turned in a solid season as a starter across 13 games with the Cardinals and Vikings in 2023, tallying 2,464 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. The veteran will provide the 49ers with a solid backup quarterback option behind Brock Purdy.

Fantasy Impact: Sherfield saw limited action with the Bills in 2023, tallying just 11 receptions in 17 games. The veteran will have an uphill battle competing for targets in a deep wide receiver group.

Fantasy Impact: Tillery, a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019, has spent his last season and a half with the Las Vegas Raiders. Tillery has not lived up to expectations and disappointed early in his career, but 2023 saw personal-best marks in pass-rush grade (67.5) and in run defense (63.1, next best was 46.2). He'll help man the middle of the line in Brian Flores' defense.

Fantasy Impact: Adeniji was elevated to the active roster late last season with the Vikings. He'll add depth to the offensive line for the Browns.

Fantasy Impact: Smith has 34 career interceptions. He isn't the player he once was, but remains a veteran presence in the secondary with Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact: Hunter will join Will Anderson Jr. on the Texans’ defensive line. The reported deal is for two-years, $49M. This addition will solidify the Texans’ defense front heading into the 2024 season.

Fantasy Impact: Lowry spent one season with Minnesota before suffering a torn pec. He'll look to land with a new team as a depth piece in free agency.

Fantasy Impact: Hicks will join Cleveland after spending the past two seasons with the Vikings. He figures to help upgrade the linebacker room for the Browns.

Fantasy Impact: Davenport will remain in the NFC North after spending last season with the Vikings. He was only on the field for four games last season, and lands in Detroit on a prove-it type of deal.

Veteran QB Kirk Cousins is signing a four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, per his agent. (Source: Mike McCartney on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Cousins was arguably the biggest domino that needed to fall in this free agency period, and with the Falcons getting a deal done, they are secure at the position for now. The Vikings will suddenly become players in the QB market with plenty of options to chase after in free agency or the draft. Cousins has averaged 4,602 yards and 33 touchdowns to 11 interceptions per 17 games over his last three seasons, pairing him with WR Drake London, TE Kyle Pitts and RB Bijan Robinson.

Fantasy Impact: The Vikings will retain their depth at tight end with the re-signing of Mundt. The 29-year-old tallied 172 yards and one touchdown on 17 receptions last season.

Fantasy Impact: Mattison took over last season for Dalvin Cook and ran for 700 yards with 30 receptions. After opening the season as the workhorse, Ty Chandler eventually cut into his role. Chandler currently figures to lead the Vikings backfield, but they'll likely bring in another running back this offseason through free agency or the NFL Draft.

T.J. Hockenson reportedly could miss the first month of the 2024 season. (Source: ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact: After tearing his ACL and MCL in December, Hockenson elected to wait over one month to undergo surgery to allow his MCL to heal. The typical timeline to recovery from this surgery is nine months, which would leave him at a potential return date in early October. This will be a situation to monitor all offseason for fantasy managers regarding one of the top tight ends in the game and in fantasy football.

The Vikings D/ST turned in a quiet performance Sunday, failing to force a turnover and recording just one sack in a 30-20 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 18.

Fantasy Impact: The unit was unable to find many answers for a strong Detroit offensive attack, allowing 381 total offensive yards in a losing effort. The defense will be one to watch in 2024-25 with defensive coordinator Brian Flores making significant adjustments late in the season.

Greg Joseph converted both of his extra point attempts as well as each of his two field goal attempts to finish with eight points in the Vikings' 30-20 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 18.

Fantasy Impact: Joseph has been fairly reliable of late, recording at least six points in three of his last five games for the Vikings. The kicker finishes a disappointing season for the Minnesota offense, registering 108 points (24-30 FG, 36-38 XP) in 17 games this season.

Nick Mullens completed 30-of-44 pass attempts for 396 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions while also rushing twice for eight yards in the Vikings' 30-20 Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact: Mullens was fairly solid despite turnover issues of late, throwing for at least 300 yards and two touchdowns in three of his last four games for the Vikings. The backup quarterback finishes the season with 1,306 passing yards to go along with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions in five games this season.
